Tech Wellness: Staying Healthy in a High-Pressure Digital World
If you spend enough time in tech, you start to see how often well-being takes a back seat. I want to explore what makes it difficult to stay healthy in tech, and what small changes can realistically help.
This conference is all about ditching the “work hard, neglect health” mindset. We’ll dive into the reasons why tech professionals often end up neglecting their well-being, from sitting too much to stressing too hard. But fear not! I’ll be drawing from my own experiences as well as the latest research on habits, continuous learning, and essentialism.
I don’t have a medical background; I simply tried to make sense of my own health and followed the work of people who actually study this. So, you can rest assured knowing you’re getting reliable information, sprinkled with my own unique take on things.
We’ll get into how small habits can fit into a packed tech routine, how you handle heavy workload days, how you eat when time gets tight, and everything in between.
It’s a journey I’m still figuring out, but these ideas have already reshaped how I work and I think they’re worth exploring together.
